Her First Tooth

Well my little BIG girl has just lost her first tooth this morning.  It had been wobbling around all day yesterday and nearly fell out last night.  I was encouraging her to move it and twist it so it would fall out.  It looked like she had a really crooked tooth but now it is out!!!

Grandma Tricia told her that the Tooth Fairy leaves $50 for the first tooth...thats a 5000% increase in 30years.  I don't think CPI has gone up that much since then.  The Tooth Fairy is expensive these days!!!  BUt Mady told me a secret - the Tooth Fairy will leave her six dollars so she can go and buy a toy.  Not sure what she has in mind but we will see.

She packaged up her tooth this morning to take to school and show Mrs Thapa and her class.  She was most excited.  She is the first child in her class to loose a tooth.  When she got home this evening she told me that Mrs Thapa was really excited but the other kids were not really interested!!

This evening she put her tooth, still in its container from the trip to school, and placed it on her bedside table.  She asked me if the Tooth Fairy would take her tooth or leave it.  I said we could write a note for the Tooth Fairy to leave your tooth for you to look at for a while and leave some money.  I am not sure if she really believes in the Tooth Fairy as she has asked if the Tooth Fairy is a real person.  We will see how she reacts tomorrow morning!!  Will keep you updated and post a photo soon!
