Quinn has grown up quickly as well. In the last few weeks her language has progressed immensely. Her current vocabulary includes:
Yes - pronounced Yuss
No
Mum
Dad
May -for Maddy
Fish
Hush - Mums dog is called Hush
Na Na - Banana
Shop
Ta
Pease - Please
If only her obedience was progressing. When you say no or stop or anything similiar she just turns and smiles at you, the little toad. Very cheeky and is absolutely hurt when you go mad at her. She throws tantrums ALL the time and usually because she has not gotten her own way.
She is very independant and strong willed. Once she has made up her mind she sets off and nothing can stop her.
Yesterday morning we came down for breakfast and she immediately raided the cupboard and found 2 apple bars. I took them off her and gave her some yoghurt which she refused and was ready to tip onto the floor. So I asked her if she wanted a Banana, Yuss, then when it was given to her she threw it on the floor. Then she started screaming and would not eat anything I tried to give her, she would just put her hands up in front of her to stop you putting any food near her face. Eventually, and probably I shouldn't have, I opened the apple bar and gave it to her, except it had broken and was in two pieces. She threw them onto the table and screamed at them. How dare they be in two pieces. Broken is not good enough for Quinnie!! Eventually she ate it and the second bar and only then was she ready to eat her yoghurt. Talk about stubborn...must be a Pitman trait!
