Forgotten by Joel

Well Joel had a great week last week. It all began on Monday...well Sunday really as we discussed what was happening for the week. Monday morning came and he left for work and I took Maddy to kindy. I had doctors appointments that day so was not going into the office. At 6.15pm that evening my mobile phone rang - it was kindy asking when I was picking Maddy up. I immediately called Joel asking him where he was, thinking that he was in a meeting or in traffic trying to get Maddy), when he told me he was on Cavendish Road (just around the corner from home). I asked if he had forgotten anything? No! What about Madison? Oh...#$%*. Luckily there was not too much traffic on the road and he was able to pick her up. When he got home he told me that he was so proud of himself for leaving work early to come home and help me and spend time with me. Except he forgot to bring Maddy home with him! And he tells me my memory is bad!!

Well the story gets worse for Joel. On Wednesday of the same week he was to take me to Day surgery in the morning on the way to the office and drop Maddy at a friends place. We had just discussed it the night before as we went to bed. As I got out of the shower I heard Joel walking out the front door and when I checked I saw Brooke's car pulling away from the driveway. Well I was not prepared to run out butt naked to try and catch him so I calmly picked up the phone and called him. I asked where he was and reminded him that he was to take Madison and I with him that morning.

You've got to love him because he tried really hard to scover up his forgetfulness by saying that he thought it best if I dropped maddy off and met him in the city so he could get some work done before hand. well I didn't believe him and when I spoke with Brooke he admitted that he had forgotten.

So I make this record that Joel does forget things and does make mistakes and does get things wrong. So if I ever forget these instances they will be recorded in cyberspace for time & eternity for everyone to remind him!!!
