A Kid FREE Weekend

I came out for dinner last night and Joel announced that he had spoken to my mother and organised for mum and dad to look after Maddy Saturday night and Sunday. The only problem was that mum needed Maddy at her place by 9am Saturday morning...a problem not at all! Any chance to have a WHOLE weekend without a child is an unknown occurance for me and I am completely at a loss as to what to do.

What do people who do not have kids do on the weekend? I honestly can't remember. I am here at home alone, typing on the computer...what on earth am I thinking. I should be out partying, shopping...what else could I do...brain not working...not functioning...this is the problem. You have kids - you loose your brain in the process of squeezing out this huge thing from a very small place and somehow your brain disappears at the same time. And then when you finally have the once in a lifetime opportunity to be free the brain does not function and all memory capacity is gone that you cannot remember nor concentrate long enough to come up with something to do that does not need to be kid friendly. Life is so cruel!

But on a good note...wait for it...we get to go to Stake Conference without any kids...now doesn;t that sound like the ultimate kid free weekend! The only great thing about it is that Joel will head to the Proesthood session at 2pm so I will have the afternoon to myself...what damage can I do to that credit card.........:)
