Maddy says her prayers & goes to bed

Every night before bed we say our prayers together and Maddy has started saying her own every night. This is what she says:

"Kind Heavenly Father, Bless my food, make me strong, help me have good sleep, thank you for my friends and family, in the name of Jesus Christ, (very loudly) AMEN!

She then stands on the end of her bed and, as she says, "jumps into bed". She literally jumps and goes flying through the air and lands on her pillow. Its a wonder she doesn't hit her head more often. She is a crazy girl, she laughs just like Joel and laughs at her own jokes, just like Joel.

Bedtime when Joel comes home is complete disaster as they both sit on the bed and make jokes and laugh at themselves. Joel cannot discipline Maddy at night as he is rolling on the floor with her. I swear she is not my child. Any hope of having her go to bed quietly and quickly are gone when Joel gets home at bedtime. Two kids in the house makes life very interesting indeed.
