Maddy & Scarlett

Well today has been an action packed adventure for Miss Madison and her friend from church, Scarlett. We all met up at Carindale after Maddy's swimming lesson to watch the Care Bears concert. Maddy was up the front dancing and grooving away. I was able to get some video footage so will try and upload.

Afterwards we headed to playgroup on Broadwater Road and played with the other kids from nursery. They had heaps of fun but Scarlett didn't want to go home and ended up coming over to play for the afternoon. They sat at the big table for lunch, eating their sandwiches and reading the junk mail. They looked like two little adults reading the paper over breakfast. There was also a lot of laughter...I have no idea what they were talking about but it must have been pretty funny.

However by 3pm both were getting very frustrated and tiredness was setting in so it was time for a rest. Two bottles of milk, two tired toddlers and one bed. They both thought it was great fun and it was very quiet for 1/2 hour and I, mistakenly, thought that they had gone to sleep. But alas they were wide awake and came down to harass me even more!! They ran all afternoon, going upstairs, running down then back up again. Scarlett put on Maddy's clothes and shoes and handbags. A real little princess!

So Maddy is very tired and had to be spoon fed her dinner...she just could not bear to do it on her own. Now its time for a bath and bed and a very long sleep.
