Joel's first surgery

Monday Joel went in for his knee reconstruction. By 7pm on Monday night we still had not heard from him or anyone at the hospital. After being told they did not know where he was we left the hospital to take Maddy home to bed. As we were leaving she asked me where daddy was and I said I did not know. She responded "Well we need to find another doctor". What a perfect solution and I agree completely. We need to find a doctor who is willing to listen to the family, their concerns and their ability to care for the patient on returning home.
