Madison's Birthday

Madison is turning three, where else would you be

When we celebrate with morning tea,

She is having a purple party

So its time to get crafty

To find something purple

So you won't look like a turtle

You don't need to wear anything fancy

Just remember to wear some panties!

Madison celebrated her third birthday this week and has loved every minuite of it. When I asked her how old she would be she confidently said that she was turning twenty. From two to twenty in 12 months. And knowing her it is just quite possible!Maddy requested a purple party but changed her mind and asked for a spiderman party. I chose to ignore that request! I bought everything purple that I could find: tablecloth, plates, cups, cutlery, purple pancakes, blueberry tarts, purple dip, an assortment of purple lollies and a purple fairy castle. The cake was gorgeous. I love it so much that we still haven't cut it up yet!!Maddy loved opening her presents, granma and granddad ray gave her a fire truck. When she opened it she said "wow its a fire truck". The expression was priceless and needless to say granma was estastic that her present was the most favoured one. She also received some Thomas the tank engine trains & DVD, some spiderman pj's, undies, a doll dressed in purple, some jewellry and much more.The kids at the party all sang happy birthday to her...they are all growing up so fast. Maddy blew out her candles and told us all "I did it myself!" It was a day full of smiles and laughter, a day I never want to forget.
